bare roomMy living room is now empty. All I have in it is one small table, my recliner, entertainment center, desk and Christmas tree. The movers from the military relocation company came yesterday and packed up all of Andi’s stuff which included the sofa, love seat, coffee table and 2 end tables I was using. Now I have to go out and buy a new sofa, coffee table and end tables. That really hurts my feelings… you know! I just love any excuse to go shopping!

Andi and I went to the Halloween turned Christmas Outlet. This is the company I work for. They are having their clearance sale this weekend. We got a lot of good stuff for cheap. Take a look at this tag on the wreath I bought.

Expensive… right? Wrong! This wreath was 90% off plus I got a 25% employee discount. This $160.00 wreath cost me $17.00.

I also got myself 2 new nutcrackers. I love nutcrackers. 1 is patriotic. I wish I could have found one in Army gear.

I got a bunch of ornaments too. I spent $42.00 and saved over $200.00. I love fantastic deals like those!

Remember my post about the elliptical I’m getting? Well I just found out that it’s been shipped and should be here in about a week. I also found out it’s coming from Nordictrack.com. It’s also a space saver elliptical. When it’s folded up it will fit into 3 feet of space which is awesome since I don’t have a lot of room.

My doctor wants me to walk 20 to 30 minutes a day every day so this will come in very handy and make my doctor happy since I refuse to walk outside… alone. I’ll also lose the 20 lbs he wants me to lose. I haven’t weighed that little since I was in my 20′s. If I lose 20 lbs I’ll weigh 120. That also means I’ll have to get all new clothes… aww gee.. what a pity! I’ll have to spend money on myself.

I’ll be so happy to be healthy. The exercise is going to do me a world of good.

My grandson got the most awesome Christmas Present. It’s called an I-Dog Amp’d. It’s basically a speaker, in the shape of a dog, that you can hook up to your I-Pod. When the music plays lights flash on it’s face, it’s ears move, it’s tail moves and the cutest part is it’s foot taps. I had to take a video of it and you can see it below! There is also a picture of it, but you can’t see the flashing lights on it’s face.

I have some time to post. The grandkids won’t be here for a couple hours. Their dad had them for Christmas morning. I just wanted to show you how much the kids love their mom!
