Jules asked Whos’s your best friend? My best friend is my daughter, Andi.
Andi was born on April 19, 1978. After having 2 sons previously I was thrilled to have a daughter. She was always a pleasure when she was growing up. She was a bit on the “blond” side too. I remember I told her to watch when crossing the street… if any cars are coming wait until they go past before you cross. Well… one day she went to go to her friend’s house down the street and she was gone about 15 minutes, I looked outside and she was standing at the corner. I went out and asked her why she was still there. She said, and I quote “There is a car… way down there”. I looked and sure enough there was a car down there.. but it was parked!! LOL
We have always been close, even when she got pregnant at 17. I was upset for maybe a half a minute then I became thrilled that I was going to be a gramma. She finished high school, with help from the school with home tutoring.
We look alike, think alike (most times) and USUALLY get along great!
I love my best friend and can’t wait until she gets home from Iraq so I can see her again!
