my baby’s birthday. Andi was born on this day 29 years ago. She’s almost “over the hill” as we used to say. Andi is the last of my children and my only daughter. She’s a medic in the US Army and is deployed to Iraq until January 2008.
When Andi was a baby she had no hair and I would dress her in pink and ruffles, as you can see in the picture. I would always get people asking me “Is it a boy or a girl?” I would slap my forehead and think “DUH!!! Can’t you see the pink and the ruffles??? She’s a girl of course!”
Andi was deathly afraid of thunder when she was little. She’d hear thunder, run into her room and gather up all of her toys and bring them out in the living room. The wanted to be ready in case we had to evacuate LOL.
Andi has grown into a wonderful woman and mom. We all can’t wait until she comes back from the land of sand.
Happy Birthday Andi!!!
Edited to add: Don’t forget to visit the birthday girl at: Army Angel . hehehe
