29 Jul 2007 Added a new plug-in
 |  Category: Tech

I just added yet another plug-in on my blog! It’s called WP-Backlinks. This plug-in makes it easy to manage and trade backlinks.

It makes a widget for you to put in your sidebar with a form to fill out to add a backlink. It’s over in my sidebar and the title is “Friendly Links”. Just click on it and a form will open up. Be sure you have already added a link to me on your site before you fill out the form. Once you fill out the form the plug-in will spider you site to check that you have added the link.

You get the ability to approve or deny any links added to your blog before they are added.

Hope I did the reciprocal link right?

Flap: It failed to detect a link back to my blog on yours and it was deleted. You can try again by putting a link to my blog on yours and resubmitting.

    Charlotte,

For some reason I added your link and forgot to add a category and of course it didn’t register.

Hopefully, it is all fixed now.

Flap: It worked this time. You’ve been added!

I used to exchange links all the time. Now Google is cracking down on link exchanges so I cut back. I like the plug-in though I wish it was around a year ago.
