29 Jul 2007 What an experience
 |  Category: life

I just got home from grocery shopping. What an experience! The store I usually go to has closed down and another supermarket is going in there, but they aren’t open yet so I had to go to a different supermarket. OMG it was jammed packed with people! I thought by going early enough I’d beat the after church crowd. I couldn’t have been more wrong!! I stood at the deli for almost a half hour just to get some ham and cheese! I didn’t need to buy that much so I didn’t use the machine to order my deli items and do my shopping.

People have no respect for anyone else in the supermarket. They stop smack-dab in the middle of an aisle and leave their cart and wander off to get what they need. Or they stop and yap to each other and don’t hear you when you say “excuse me” or they give you a dirty look when they do. After this experience I need to pack up my Samsonite luggage and take a vacation. I just can’t understand why people feel the need to be so rude or shop like they are the only ones in the store.
