17 Aug 2007 I heard her voice
 |  Category: family

DSC00177.JPG My cell rang a little bit ago and the caller ID said it was Andi In Iraq. I damn near dropped the phone! I haven’t heard her voice in months. Yeah.. I’ve talked to her, but it’s been in the form of IM’s and emails. It was so good to hear her voice instead of seeing her words. We talked for just over a half hour and now I can’t quit smiling.

Oh.. and that picture up there… yeah…. that’s my goofball child!

glad i could put a smile on your face. It was really good to actually talk to you instead of type to you. Guess maybe i should call home a little more often.. Only thing that would have made it better would be if dad was there.. Maybe ill call tomorrow night if he will be there.. wait.. wont be able to.. soon.. ill try soon, just dont know when he’s gonna be there :( Webcam, kids.. tomorrow night tho right??

Raymond: emailing and IMing on the computer is great, but nothing compares to voice to voice contact… except in person contact. :)
