03 Sep 2007 Only Illegal For Some?
 |  Category: life

cell phone Here in New Jersey it’s supposed to be illegal to drive while talking on your cell phone. I comply with that by using a headset. Well I guess it’s not illegal for everyone. While I was coming back home from the store this morning I passed one of Galloway’s finest and yep.. you guessed it.. he had a cell phone up to his ear and was yapping away! If he crashed while talking on the cell he’d probably call a product liability attorney. I wished I had my camera with me.

I guess it’s only illegal for some…

Oh.. speaking of camera. On my way into my complex another of Galloway’s finest was in front of me and stopped in the middle of the road. I went to see what they were looking at and I was shocked to see a turkey (I’m guessing it was a wild one) and 4 babies.. well young turkeys. I went and parked my car and went in and got my camera and walked back to where they were. I did get pictures of them. I was afraid to get too close because momma turkey kept giving me “that look”. But I managed to snap 2 pictures. Click on the to see them full sized!

Turkey dinner? Gobble, gobble

  1. If these are like the turkey vultures we have? Which they look the same, they built a nest up over our office front doors and squawked every time you entered the building. We were not allowed to touch them as they are protected.. They were aggressive and you had to get in the building quickly…

They’re still around however, decided to nest somewhere else.
