10 Oct 2007 Halloween is coming
 |  Category: life

I work for a Halloween store and they are having a sample sale soon. I can get costumes for my grandkids for about $1.00. Last year I got a costume and a couple other things that cost me less than $5.00. When the grandkids come over this weekend I’m going to find out what they’d like and see if I can find them a costume at the sale. I know Kody love dinosaurs, I hope I can find some animal masks. These are good quality costumes that they sell. They aren’t the cheapo things that fall apart halfway through Halloween night. This is going to be fun!

  1. I think I like Halloween as much as the kids. Have fun, it’s almost here, and we already carved one pumpkin with Noah..I like the whole month to be a celebration..

Being a complete sugar freak, I love Halloween for only one thing- all the free candy! I can’t really stand the rest of it though.

Kids are _so_ lucky these days. I went to a nearby cheapo store recently, and the number and variety of Halloween novelties was genuinely surprising. And most of ‘em for 99p!

Still, I reckon my generation had more fun making our own costumes, so there :)

T O: When I was a kid we had a trunk full of old clothes.. I used to put together a costume from the contents of that trunk. It was a lot of fun!

Hoto: I was in Germany one Halloween but I was staying with my daughter and her kids in US Army housing. It was very popular there. :)
