I know when the grandkids go back to Texas that Andi will probably get them another dog. Right now they have a dog and 2 cats. I’m sure they’ll miss them, but not as much as their mom misses them right now. I wonder what type of dog they’ll get? Will it be a Basset Hound? A Collie? A Shepherd? Or will it be a mutt? We have always been a pet oriented family. We’ve had dogs, cats, birds, fish and more. Andi and the kids used to have an Australian Cattle dog. Her name was JD (short for Jersey Devil because she was very devilish).

We’ve had a mixed beagle and terrier named Patches, a German Shepherd name Mickey and our favorite a mixed husky, shepherd and Labrador Retriever named Shannon. Shannon was the best dog and I’ve posted about him before so I won’t bore you with the details again. We had a cat named Smokey and another named Fluffy (real original, huh?). We had parakeets named, ChiChi, Keeter, Baby, and Tweety. We never named the fish, well the kids might have named them, but I didn’t. The fish didn’t last real long.

But whatever pets the grandkids do get, I know they’ll be very happy with them!

    We are about to get rid of our cat because it keeps scratching my son when he tries to play with it. I thought he would learn eventually, but he keeps messing with the cat and the cat got him in the eye yesterday. :cry:
