I was mentioned on NJ.com: Parental Guidance. While I’m honored to be mentioned, it’s in an article about the wearing of camo. Peggy talks about finding something camo in her child’s drawer and she threw it out. She says they don’t do camo in her house. Well.. My grandkids (my Army Medic daughter’s kids) wear camo quite often. Both their parents have been in the army. They are from a large military family. I see absolutely nothing wrong with “camo as a fashion statement”. My grandkids even got animals from Build A Bear Workshop and they picked out the clothing for their animals and guess what? They picked camo.
I don’t think that civilians wearing camo is being disrespectful of our soldiers in uniform. I think it show our patriotism.
Don’t get me wrong. I think NJ.com is a very nice site. I just do not happen to agree with the article that I happened to be mentioned in.
Do you agree? Disagree? Why?

I don’t care if my kids wear cammo. Get real.
Now, G-Strings and tattoos are a different matter.
Life On The Planet: Yep… that’s a whole entirely different matter! lol
Charlotte, I did have to uninstall and reinstall in order to get back on your site. All done…
I’m with you..wear what ever you want, last I looked we were a free country..and I would take it as respect as well. I don’t understand how it could be construed as anything else.

Free country. Wear what you wanna including g-strings and tattoos. I have both on right now.
Dorothy: I’m glad you got it fixed.
And yes… this is a free country!
trashman: no tattoos here…
I have to agree. Good article. Keep it up
