01 Jan 2008 Need to Clean

I de-Christmased the house now I need to do cleaning. I vacuumed up the pine needles from the Christmas tree. I packed away the decorations. The kitchen and bathroom floors need to be swept and washed the shower and tub need to be scrubbed. The bathroom vanities need to be cleaned off and straightened up. I got my laundry done now I just have to put the clothes away. Andi has her laundry to do too.

It’s going to be a busy January 1, 2008. We’re also watching the Mummer’s Parade too. My favorite is the String Bands – Quaker City String Band to be exact.

    It makes me wonder why we do this to ourselves over and over again..each year. Yet I know I’ll do the same next year and clean up and say why? I know the smiles, the happiness…the kids glowing with peace and contentment. This is our job.
