Andi and the kids just left for their 1700 mile drive back to Texas. It’s going to be so strange without a house full of people. She didn’t have room for everything in her car that she thought she would so I’ll have to send off a couple of boxes. Her trunk isn’t as big as she thought it was.

I bet it will take a couple of days to get used to the quiet. But, don’t you have a whole lotta shopping to do for some new furniture? That should get you excited about Andi and the kids collecting the last of their things. I am glad you had a nice holiday. Warm wishes for a fanstastic New Year (and I loved your wreath!). Hugs- EE
Aw, hugs for you. Safe travels for her and the kids. Stacy goes home tomorrow.
I know you’re going to miss her, but I’m sure it’s going to be a better kind of “missing” than when she was in Iraq. Do you have plans to get together again sometime soon?
Sometimes, you wish you could keep them forever. Gary was home for an unexpected few days from Camp Pendleton. I hated he had to go back. The house is so quiet.. It never gets easier.
I pray for your daughters safe journey home.

I know how an empty nest feels. A safe journey for Andi and the kids.
Greg, Jr. leaves back to Indiana on Saturday.
Erin: Thanks and yep… I need to go furniture shopping!
Karen: Thanks! As of 8 am she was close to Memphis, TN. She’s probably real close to Texas by now.
Kate: It’s definitely a better kind of missing. Hubby and I plan to make at least 2 trips to Texas in the next year… maybe more!
Dorothy: No.. it never gets any easier.
Flap: Thanks! Her trip has been safe so far.
