I’ve been saying that I need an IPod… well I finally broke down and ordered one from Amazon.com and it’s purple!!! I got some extra money so I decided to spoil myself. I can’t wait until it comes. It’s going to make working out so much easier. Not only that… I can also use it while doing laundry, dishes, vacuuming, dusting the bedroom furniture, grocery shopping and sitting here at the computer.
The best part about having an IPod Shuffle is that I won’t bother hubby when I’m working out and he wants to watch TV.

Oooooh, congrats!
I don’t have an ipod, but I love my scandisk mp3 player. It’s basically the same size as the shuffle n physical size and memory capacity.
And yes, having a ton of music to listen to while working out makes it so awesome. I use mine while cleaning the house, doing dishes, everything. hahahah

Thanks Kat! I can afford to spoil myself, a little, now… right? *wink*
Yay for you! I adore my ipod and never go anywhere without it. My only regret is that I bought it before the new generations nanos came out so it isn’t purple

aww… that’s a shame it isn’t purple!
lol
Sounds like a good plan. My husband rocks in his recliner, rocker with one of those things that still plays the tapes. He has his earphones on and is in another world. He would never take the time to learn the ipod as he won’t use a computer or cell phone. I call him antique. Enjoy Dorothy

My hubby is partly antique. He uses a cell phone, but won’t learn how to use the computer or anything else like that.
Oh how fun for you!!!!

Thanks Natalie.. I’ve been wanting one for awhile now.
I recently dug up my iPod, which was also a “reward” I gave myself after a good night of poker, but now I can’t find the data cable. I like my iPod, but I really hate the use of proprietary cables to force you to buy from Apple.
I bought a Sansa MP3 player for a friend of mine, and it’s awesome. It has an FM radio that actually picks up signals, even inside casinos, runs on a simple AAA battery, and has built-in features like a voice recorder and various playlist manipulation tools. Best of all, it can be bought for around $50. I think I will spend the $50 on that instead of on a replacement iPod cord.
