I cleaned out one of my junk drawers today. Yes.. I said one of my junk drawers. I have a couple. Ok… I have 3! Anyway, as I said, I cleaned out one of my junk drawers today and I couldn’t believe the crap I had in there. I found paper clips, folded up pieces of papers with nothing on them, dried up bic pens, screws, nuts, screw drivers and a lot of dust.
I put thing I was keeping away where they belonged and wiped the drawer out and threw away the trash. It took awhile to do all that and then I vacuumed the floor. There were some pencil shavings in that drawer too. I have no clue how they got in there either! I’ll tackle the other 2 drawers another day.
Cleaning junk drawers can actually be interesting, well it was for me occasionally at least, as I used to find some interesting stuff in there apart from pencils, lighters that don’t work, and notes that I have no idea what they are about anymore.

It’s funny what kind of strange things you find when cleaning.
I love having a clean out like that, makes lots of space for it so somehow mysteriously fill up again!

That’s the problem with cleaning them out… you do that, turn your back and they just fill up again on their own!
