I heard the other day about a car that was stolen with a child inside. They were lucky they found the car a short time later and the child was still inside the car and was ok. Not everyone is as lucky. It would help if people would get a GPS tracker installed in their vehicles. I’ve heard of other stories where either they didn’t find the child in time or the the child was left on the side of the road and the car and the thief were never found.
I just couldn’t imagine having my car stolen with my grandkids inside and the car and my grandkids were never seen again. It would be so heart breaking. Of course, I would never leave my grandkids in the car alone anyway, so that’s something I don’t have to worry about. I just think of how hard it is on parents who have done that and lost a child that way.
It’s not only good if your car is stolen.. you can track your teen’s whereabouts or an elderly family member too.
I’ve been thinking of getting some sort of vehicle tracking device for my car. I don’t live in an area where there are too many auto thefts, but you never know when that will happen to you. I would feel safer having one, knowing that if my car was ever stolen it could be tracked and found quickly.
When a car is stolen having tracking devices installed will allow the police to find your car and hopefully return it to you in one piece. Having a tracking device will give you lower insurance rates too.
