Andi went to NTC (National Training Center) in the Mojave desert in California about a week or so ago. Starting in the morning she will be “in the box” and out of touch with her kids and me for the next 2 weeks.
Andi is hating the desert and misses her kids something fierce. I had been talking with her on Yahoo by her phone. She won’t be able to use her phone once she’s “in the box” beginning tomorrow morning. I hate being out of touch with her.

i think i’d hate it if i were unable to communicate with those close to me. i pretty much take it for granted that i can.
Oh, I feel for you. Stacy has left and is in a plane as I type. Ugh.

My grandson is back in Iraq and can only call certain times. We all miss and worry…now I’ll add Andi to the list…here’s hoping the next two weeks flies by.
