My desk is all completed. Now I’m sorry I tackled this on my own (for the most part). My back is killing me. My middle finger on my right hand is killing me… I got a blister from using the screwdriver for so long. I didn’t move it myself… hubby moved the heavy end of the desk with the drawers and door.

But I am totally in love with my new desk in spite of the pain it caused me. I now have my printer/scanner/copier up on the desktop where I can reach it without bending over. My tower is in the door next to the 2 drawers. Those drawers are so nice and deep too. I can use one for files and the other to hold all the junk I had in a plastic cabinet that was next to the old desk.
As we moved the old desk out of the way it dropped the keyboard tray onto the floor for the last time! It will be dismantled and tossed tomorrow. It’s so crappy it’s not even worth giving away.

That is one good looking desk and will you ever be paying for stretching those muscles use a heating pad and some heat liniment to help the pain..
Or you really owe yourself a nice hot bubble bath..
Happy New year and thanks for visiting my site…

Thanks Dorothy! I’ll think about your offer and let you know.
I AM SO JEALOUS. I love your desk, all the cubbies, the drawers, really love the cabinet for the hard drive. So jealous. I want one. By the way, we have the same monitor. I really like that cabinet for the hard drive, keeps the dust off of it, mine is so dusty all the time.
I have one of those plastic cabinets for my stuff. Someday Ill get a new desk. Probably when we move again. Congrats on your beautiful desk.

Thank you! I really love it too. I even have room on the keyboard tray for my mouse!
Just gotta watch those drawers for the CPU box because if it doens’t have enough ventilation it can get hot in there but that’s one nice looking desk. I need to get another one for me as I’ve literally busted up this one personally myself with my temper and I took it out on the desk lol I like the corner pieces myself. My keyboard doesn’t stay put either as that is usually what takes a hit.

This has plenty of ventilation. There is a large cutout in the back of the compartment where the tower is.
WOW!! That’s super nice! Nothing like good work space to make you feel better! I seriously hope your back starts feeling better.

Thanks Karen! Yes.. she made it home a couple days ago..
Good for You! We got a computer desk several years ago and I started putting it together. Hubster decided to surprise me while I was at work and finished it. There were several “left over” pieces and the cabinet for the tower still does not have a handle, some surprise.

That’s why I only had hubby help me turn it over. I finished putting it all together and he just helped move it. No leftover pieces!
