 |  Category: Uncategorized

gem31l5ewatipl_sl250_On April 30th I won a beautiful diamond pendant in a giveaway at Jenn’s blog. I haven’t received it yet and I can’t wait. I know it’s on it’s way. I am going to pay it forward with the help of GemAffair.com. GemAffair will give one lucky winner a Silver Goody Grab which will consist of 3 to 5 different silver jewelry items handpicked by GemAffair. I don’t have a picture of the prize because I don’t know what GemAffair will choose.

On May 31st I will pick one lucky winner. This giveaway is open only to US residents (sorry).

To enter: Since this is a military related blog, leave a comment thanking our troops. This will give you 1 entry in the giveaway.

To get up to 5 extra entries *you must leave separate comments for each extra entry, if you lump all the entries into one comment the comment will be disregarded and not counted* do any or all of the following:
1. Follow me on Twitter – ArmyMom
2. Follow GemAffair on Twitter
3. Twitter this post – (copy and paste the following) – ArmyMom and @GemAffair are giving away a Silver Goody Grab! Enter for a chance to win beautiful jewelry! http://tinyurl.com/ouwrsr
4. Visit GemAffair and let me know which piece of jewelry you like best.
5. Write a post on your blog about this giveaway and leave the URL to the post in the comment.

You can have a total of 6 entries in the giveaway if you do all of the above. You don’t have to do all but if you do you have more chances to win.

Remember… YOU MUST LEAVE SEPARATE COMMENTS FOR EACH ENTRY! Good luck to everyone who enters!

UPDATED MAY 20, 2007: GemAffair will not only supply the winner with some silver goodness they are also going to take each comment thanking our Troops and have them bound and send them along with some goodies to our Troops. Read about that here. If you just want to thank our troops, please leave a comment.. you can say your aren’t entering so I don’t count that comment at the end.

You can follow any responses to this entry through the RSS 2.0 feed. Both comments and pings are currently closed.

I am thrilled that GEMaffair.com can be a part of this giveaway.

Everyday we should be thankful for the brave men and women who are willing to leave their home just to protect it. They allow us the freedoms we so casually enjoy. Words can’t express the gratitude I have for every man or woman who serves this country (with a special shout out to those at Fort Polk!). Thank you.

I try to never miss an opportunity to thank our troops – I lived in DC for a few years and saw a lot of men and women in uniform. I was always so glad to be able to say “thank you” and more often than not, the person I was thanking seemed so surprised that a stranger on the street would do that.

So…here’s a huge THANK YOU to the men and women who serve so that I can live free!
