Introducing Benton Jacob. He joined our family at 1:17 am on 8/27/09. He weighed 6 lbs 9 oz and is 20 inches long. Mom (Andi) and baby (Benton Jacob) are doing just fine. Andi had texted me at 8:45 pm last night and said her contractions were 7 minutes apart and if they didn’t get better by 9:30 pm she was going to the hospital. I didn’t hear from her again until I got a text just after 3 am telling me he was born.
Andi was supposed to go into the hospital on Friday to have him by c-section but that happened early this morning instead.
It funny how sometimes someone’s life ends and a new life begins. It’s just a shame Dawn didn’t make it to see Benton. But you all can see him below. He looks a lot like Kody (Kody was the baby of the family).
Congratulations to your daughter and family. He looks adorable. I’m glad that he’s doing so well.
Thank you! He’s doing really well. He had his 1st dr appt the other day and Andi was told he’s the “picture of health”.
