Just a little while ago there was and still is shootings at Fort Hood, TX. It was just said on Fox News that 7 are dead and 20 are injured. They are now saying there are 3 shooters. 1 suspect in custody, 2 on the run. The base and schools surrounding the base are on lockdown.
I heard this when the news broke in to General Hospital and my heart just sunk into the pit of my stomach. I changed the channel to Fox News.
The FBI is in route from San Antonio to Ft. Hood. They don’t know if the shooters are military or civilians but they do say they were wearing uniforms.
I’m just so glad that Andi is out of the Army now and no longer at Ft. Hood. Even so I feel so sad for those people who have been killed/injured and their families.
This is all just too horrifying for words. 12 dead now and 31 injured. The shooter/shooters were soldiers!
This was such a horrific and sad incident that happened at Ft Hood. I am glad that your daughter was not there and is safe at home. One can only imagine what the soldiers and their families are going through at this time.
