Fall is almost upon us and it’s about that time to start getting halloween costumes for the kids. Andi already has a couple things together for the boys, they want to be the Blues Brothers. She’s still looking for something for Benton and Tayler doesn’t know if she wants to dress up or not.. she’s 14 now.

I miss my old job setting up utilities for the Halloween stores. Halloween has been one of my favorite holidays…. next to Christmas (my all time favorite holiday). I miss all of the people I worked with and the way the office would get decorated with things the company sells.

This summer has been so hot, dry (rain-wise) and humid. It’s been horrible. I can’t wait for the cool, crisp fall weather (we’ve had a little taste of that the past few days). Today the heat and humidity came back and the A/C came back on. I haven’t seen such weather extremes in a long time. This past winter was cold and snowy.

I hope mother nature gets her act together and gets the weather back into normal mode again.

The company I work for made the big time in the blogging world. Spirit Halloween has been mentioned on Perez Hilton’s blog.

There was a big to-do about it in the office today. Emails were sent around to everyone with link’s to Hilton’s blog article about the company along with another link to Martha Stewart Radio where the CEO was on Martha’s radio show.

The other day some people from the office participated in the annual Spirit of Children Day where they go to children’s wards in hospitals to bring Halloween to children who would not be able to go trick or treating. They bring costumes and fun things to do. They also raise money for the child life units in local hospitals.

I’ll probably be going back to work on June 9th! If you don’t remember I work for a Halloween store setting up the utilities for the new stores. Yeah.. I know it’s early and it’s no where’s near Halloween yet, but it takes time to get the store set up, get their stock in, hire employees and stuff. It takes a lot of time to do all of that.

These store sell all kinds of stuff from costumes, decorations to Halloween invitations.

It’s a fun place to work for and I can’t wait to get back there. Hopefully, I’ll be permanent. That’s what I was told when I left in January. I’ll know for sure the end of this week.
