After the nice weather the other day it’s been in the 40′s.. I’m freezing again! I wish the weather would make up it’s mind. Tuesday is supposed to be in the 60′s and in the 70′s again on Wednesday. I really hate the weather in this area.

When Andi comes up here to live and we get a house we’re going to have a yard sale to get rid of all the junk that Andi is brining with here and stuff I have here to get rid of. Then maybe we can get a directbuy membership and get some good deals on furniture for the house. Andi keeps sending me links to houses that she’s found on Realtor.com. I’m almost positive they won’t still be available when we’re ready to buy, but there will be others.

I think I’m climbing out of the funk. Yesterday and today I was feeling a bit better. I finally took my car through the car wash… *it hasn’t been washed since I got it*… The weather and money just didn’t seem to work out at the same time. I would wash it at home but the condo association frowns on you washing your car in the parking lot. They also frown on you doing work on your car too, like doing oil changes and stuff. You’re allowed to do things to get it moving, if it’s not something major.

We went and picked up the new furniture for the living room. Hubby got his brother to help. We got the tables and cushions up into the condo and now we are waiting for help to bring up the sofa and love seat. I live on the 2nd floor so we need more than 2 people especially since the sofa is a sofa bed. It’s a lot heavier than a regular sofa.

I remember when we were so much younger and moved a lot of times. The 1st place we lived was in hubby’s parents basement. That was interesting living there. We always had to have basement dehumidifiers running because it was very damp. The nice thing is that is was cool in the summer. I used to help moving the heavy things and I just can’t do that anymore. Hubby has a hard time with that now too.

After everything is all moved in and set up I’ll take pictures and post them. I can’t wait to sit on my couch tonight and watch Survivor!

It’s going to get quieter around here within the next 30 days! I just got a letter from the condo association, it went to everyone in our building, about the “chanter” downstairs. He’s going to be removed to another facility but it will take about 30 days.

Dear Residents:

Please be advised that the Board of Trustees has been made aware of constant disturbances coming from Unit XXX, yelling, cursing, slamming of doors and verbal threatening remarks made out loud.

As the Property Administrator for (Name of condo complex), it is my legal duty to inform all tenants in Building XXX of the situation at hand. I have had numerous communications with the (name of group) who are responsible for housing the aforementioned tenants in unit XXX. They have advised this office that they are going to move the person(s) out of (Name of condo complex) to another facility. This will take approximately thirty (30) days. We are asking all of you to be a little more patient until the person(s) is removed from (Name of condo complex).

It is our belief that this person(s) may not be of a dangerous nature. However, it is recommended that you have no communication with him whatsoever.

Simultaneously, this letter is being forwarded to (Name of real estate office that rents out that unit), the (local police department) and to our attorney.

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

This will make this place so much nicer to live in! I can’t wait!

I finally found a new theme for my blog. What do you think? I had to get rid of the Army colors since the Army has pissed of both Andi and I for a long time.

I think the colors are calming and soothing. I just have to fix a couple things but I think I’m quite happy with this one.

On to other things… We are still looking for a place to live. We went to see one today that they want $925 a month for but…. It was the tiniest house I’ve ever seen. I don’t think my stuff would fit in that place. It’s just a little crackerbox house and they’re nuts if they think they’re going to get that much a month for it. It comes with a washer and dryer but no refrigerator and there is another small house, on the same lot, that is less than 5 feet away. Scratch that one off the list.

I’ve been doing a lot of packing and cleaning so as soon as we find a place we can just move on out.

We’ve been trying to find a place to move to and we haven’t had much luck. We went to see a couple places and the 1st one was $1150 a month and wasn’t really a bad size except our dining room furniture wouldn’t fit in the dining area (tiny, tiny, tiny), the closets had no doors (just shelves on a wall), absolutely no pets allowed (landlord has a big dog though) and the biggest thing was the house was literally 5 feet away from the landlord’s house.

Then we went to see a double wide on it’s own lot. That place was $925 a month and was so tiny. The “master suite” looked like only a twin bed would fit in it. The 2nd bedroom was so small if you put a twin bed in it it would take up the whole room. None of our furniture would fit in this place. You would have to be a little person to live there. The ceilings were just a few inches above hubby’s head and he’s 6’2″. It felt very claustrophobic in there.

We’re probably going to have to put our stuff in storage and live in our camper until we can find a place. Not my idea of fun. Hubby, me and the cat… JOY! At least it has a nice kitchen area.

I’m still packing away here. Hubby brings home a few boxes at a time from work otherwise I’d probably be done by now, if I had more boxes.

Andi, her boyfriend Drew and Benton were here this weekend. Benton is such a good baby and rarely cries. Drew is officially Benton’s dad. He stepped up and adopted him. He’s a good guy. Hubby likes him so that’s saying something.

Mah MawMaw is buzy

Mah MawMaw haz been very buzy. She takes stuff and puts it in these big, brown, square things she calls bockes. I like to get inside them but she makes me get owt. That don’t make me very happy. She says we are moving but I don’t know what that is. Things look so different here with all these bockes all over teh place. I just hope she don’t put my litter bocks and fud dish in one of them things. Where will I go? What will I eat?

MawMaw tells me we are gonna live in a trailer for a little bit. What is that? I hope there is windows so I can look owtside. She tells me it will be small. I hope theres room for my litterbocks and fud dish. I hope theres room for me too run cuz I get crazy sometimes and run thru the house and down the hall and jump up on the walls then back again.

Ahnyways I better end this before MawMaw sees me at her puter.. shes putting stuff in bockes in her bedroom.

1 week to go

The movers will be here between 9 and 10 am 1 week from today. Our stuff will be going into storage at the moving company until we can find a place to go. Between 2 and 3 that afternoon the carpet cleaners will be here to clean the carpets (we have to do that before we turn over the keys… it’s in the lease).

We will be staying at hubby’s brothers in our camper trailer. I just hope we don’t end up killing each other before we find a place to live. This should prove to be interesting!

Edited to add: My landlord is being a total jerk!! He won’t give us the 2 extra days we need. Hubby doesn’t get paid til October 2nd. The landlord wants us out on September 30th. Now we have to try and borrow the money for the movers.

Today I have to do a lot of running around. 1st I have to go to the bank and make a deposit. Then I have to go to WaWa and get a couple things. Then the laundromat… *YUK*. Then to CVS and get hubby’s meds refilled. Then to Shoprite to get some lunchmeat and cheese.

Then I’m sure Andi will need to go somewhere so I’ll have to run out again. Sometime today I also have to get gas in the car.

So now I need to get dressed and get moving. Have fun today everyone!!

I’ll probably be moving in with Andi, Drew and the baby in the next couple days. I still won’t have my stuff until we can get storage paid off. I was hoping for some donations to help out but so far only one person was nice enough to contribute.

There is an extra desk that I’ll be able to use and soon I’ll have a baby on my lap while trying to type my posts. Soon you’ll see words like 7-dfbx, cjieryow and others. Don’t be concerned.. I haven’t lost my mind.. it will be Benton trying to help me out with my work

Moving……. again

I’m going to be moving again. My sister-in-law is moving back into her house, which is where I am now, and I’ll be moving into her one bedroom condo in Smithville. It will be much cheaper for me and I think I’ll really like it because I can walk to stores and stuff.

The move will probably happen on December 11th. I really don’t have a lot to pack up at the moment so it should be an easy move. Wish me luck.

Oh… does anyone know where I can get a reasonably priced computer tower with Windows 7 on it? I’d love to find something under $300. I don’t need a keyboard or monitor, I still have mine from the computer I murdered a few months ago. Actually it doesn’t matter what it would cost because I really can’t afford to buy anything at all right now. I’m still unemployed and don’t have much in the way of income.
