Taking a break..

I’m sitting here taking a break from packing and writing some posts. I’m getting hungry too. I might just have to look through some business flyers for different take out places here and see what sounds good to order. First I have to check an see how much money I have that I can spare before I order anything.

My bedroom is all packed except for my clothes. I’ve been working on packing the things we won’t be using for the next few days from the kitchen. Andi is out in the cold garage and sorting through things right now. I’m doing the indoor stuff so I can keep an eye on Benton. It’s way too could out for him to be out there with his mom. It’s only in the 30′s out and the garage is not heated and the wind is blowing like crazy. There could even be flurries or snow showers today.

Time to get back to work and do some more packing before the baby wakes up from his nap.

Moving time again and Saturday is the day. We’re busy packing what little stuff we have for the move. We’ll have a sofa, coffee table, chair, bed and a couple of tv stands plus some boxes to move.

Because of financial reasons all of my things are STILL in storage where they have been for over a year now. I really miss my stuff. Andi will say she needs something and I always end up saying that I have whatever it is but it’s in storage.

I have just one set of sheets for my bed because I don’t want to and can’t afford to buy any extras and the others I do have are in storage.

I need to either find a job (no luck with that one) or find a way to make a decent amount of money working from home (without falling for scams). I just hate living this way… it’s depressing and that’s not a good thing.

The movers will be here between 9 and 10 am 1 week from today. Our stuff will be going into storage at the moving company until we can find a place to go. Between 2 and 3 that afternoon the carpet cleaners will be here to clean the carpets (we have to do that before we turn over the keys… it’s in the lease).

We will be staying at hubby’s brothers in our camper trailer. I just hope we don’t end up killing each other before we find a place to live. This should prove to be interesting!

Edited to add: My landlord is being a total jerk!! He won’t give us the 2 extra days we need. Hubby doesn’t get paid til October 2nd. The landlord wants us out on September 30th. Now we have to try and borrow the money for the movers.

I finally found a new theme for my blog. What do you think? I had to get rid of the Army colors since the Army has pissed of both Andi and I for a long time.

I think the colors are calming and soothing. I just have to fix a couple things but I think I’m quite happy with this one.

On to other things… We are still looking for a place to live. We went to see one today that they want $925 a month for but…. It was the tiniest house I’ve ever seen. I don’t think my stuff would fit in that place. It’s just a little crackerbox house and they’re nuts if they think they’re going to get that much a month for it. It comes with a washer and dryer but no refrigerator and there is another small house, on the same lot, that is less than 5 feet away. Scratch that one off the list.

I’ve been doing a lot of packing and cleaning so as soon as we find a place we can just move on out.

We haven’t found a new place to move to yet but I started packing this morning. I figured I should start packing up stuff that I know I won’t be using for awhile.

I have a few boxes and decided to start on my ~~clutter~~ china cabinet. I had the door opened and was taking stuff out, wrapping it and putting it into a box when JoJo jumped up and started taking a stroll through the cabinet… meowing the whole time. If my batteries, for my camera, had been charged I would have taken a picture.

That cabinet hasn’t been opened since I got JoJo so I guess she was curious as to what was in there.. She’s such a goofball.

I heard from Andi this morning too and her and the baby are doing fine and could possibly be going home tomorrow.
