My god… it’s pink!!

My grand daughter is 13, soon to be 14, and her dad told her she could dye her hair if she wanted to. Well… she did and it’s PINK!!! Well, not all of it is pink but the front is. I know when she was little she always said she wanted purple hair but I didn’t expect this.

Actually it really doesn’t look bad.. it just makes her look so different.

Andi wanted to get Sims 3 for Tayler for her birthday. That’s when Sims 3 was supposed to come out in February. That got changed to June. I was just checking out Buy.com and they have Sims 3 on sale for only $44.95 with free shipping!! I shop at Buy.com a lot. They ship quick and have fantastic deals!! I’m going to have to get Andi to do her shopping there too.

I’ve played The Sims & Sims 2 and I would love to get Sims 3 to play. At that price you could almost get 2 games for the price they are selling the Sims 3 for on their website. With Sims 3 you make a family, decorate their homes, etc. They get jobs, have parties, make friends and more. There are more places for them to visit such as the park, neighbors homes and even the graveyard. There are new personality traits, new gameplay that is rewarding and quick and there is unlimited customization of everything in the Sims homes. You can customize the floors, drapes, shirts, wall paper and more.

Just reading about this new Sims game makes me want to get it for myself. I loved playing the Sims before. If I didn’t like a Sim I would put them in a pool with no way out. They would die. I know that’s wrong and I would never do something like that in real life.

Hey Andi… I know you read my blog. Go and get this for Tayler so I can “borrow” it from her!

It’s almost June!

I’m so happy that it’s almost June.

Why?

I’ll tell you why.

Andi is leaving Texas on June 14th to bring the boys up here to their father and take Tayler back to Texas. She should be here for almost 2 weeks and I can’t wait to see her. I miss my little girl.

So, ok, she’s not little anymore but no matter how old she is she’ll always be my little girl & my best friend. We haven’t seen her since January when we took the boys down to her. She was just barely pregnant then and now she’s about 6 months pregnant. I can’t wait to see the baby bump in person.

This will probably be a longer drive for her because she’ll probably have to stop for potty breaks more often. Energy drinks are out of the question for her on this trip too so she’ll have to stop for the night a little earlier than usual.

Anywho… my car is now mine.. for another month. I have to call the rental person and let them know the rent will be about a week late. We’ll have to pay an extra $50 but it will get paid. I don’t want them to start eviction so it’s best to let them know what’s happening. Now I have to go out and get a little bit of food in the house.

Andi & Jeremy’s baby is due on August 23rd. She’s 7 1/2 weeks pregnant. That means she was pregnant when she was up here for Thanksgiving and she didn’t know it.

She has to start all over again. She has no baby things left from her other 3 kids. She honestly thought she was done! Things are more expensive now than they were between 9 and 13 years ago.

Andi has decided to stay in the Army. She says she can’t afford to get out. I’m disappointed but I stand by her in whatever she wants to do. After all… that’s what parents are supposed to do.

In a couple weeks hubby and I will be taking Andi’s boys down to her. Tayler, her daughter, wants to stay up here at her dads. I haven’t had a chance to find out the reason why she wants to stay but it’s probably because she has made friends and doesn’t want to leave them again.

Stuff on the 4th

First off Happy 4th of July (Independence Day) to everyone who celebrates it here in the US. I’m not doing anything but getting some much needed housework done because I have 3 of my 5 grandkids coming over tomorrow to spend the weekend. The 3 that are coming are by my daughter then there is Trey who is by my oldest son and finally Tanner who is by my youngest son. Tanner’s father wasn’t really known until DNA testing was done. Tanner’s mom was Kris’ girlfriend until Kris caught her in bed with another guy hence the need for the test.

I’ve already gotten the dishes done, have the laundry going, made my bed, got dressed, went and got gas and stuff from WaWa. Tomorrow morning I have to go pay my rent, go to the grocery store and pick up some stuff for the kiddos then go pick up the kiddos and bring them here.

I’m off to finish what needs doing. You all have a great holiday!
